In 2011, Oklahoma Central Credit Union formed the Oklahoma Central Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, to offer financial education and scholarship opportunities to our community and more than 45,000 members.
Building Our Legacy...
Credit unions were founded on the principle of people helping people, therefore we feel it’s our duty to carry on this legacy. We hope to make this impact by helping members and the community become financially empowered and assisting with the cost of higher education.
Foundation Programs
Financial Capability Center
The Oklahoma Central Financial Capability Center is a critical focus for the foundation. Free programs for members and the community are offered to help them reach their personal financial goals.
Scholarship and Grant Program
Through fundraising efforts, we are able to award scholarships to high school seniors and grants to teachers through the Oklahoma Central Foundation.
Community Giveback
Our employees are encouraged to volunteer in community organizations that are close to their hearts. Oklahoma Central supports employees by providing them community service leave to give back to special causes.
Funding for Our Future
The Oklahoma Central Foundation raises money so that we can offer our younger members of the community beginning their path to adulthood a variety of programs, such as scholarships, first-time auto and first-time home buying programs.
While the Oklahoma Central Foundation is largely employee-funded, we appreciate and accept donations from the community at large. If you or your organization are interested in contributing to the Foundation's efforts, please contact Leah Bowles at LBowles@OklahomaCentral.org or 918-644-6000 ext. 224.
